For all the sea food lovers, like myself.
Today: trout. Today: healthy. Today: -as always- yummy! : )
Not only is trout highly beneficial to our health, being rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and having A, D and E vitamins, but also it is very tasty.
Ingredients:
- 2 small trouts
- 1 lemon
- 1,5 glasses of white wine(Riesling, Silvaner, etc.)
- 50g butter
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 1 table spoon of olive oil
- salt
Optional:
- Herbes de Provence
The magic:
Preheat the oven to 200C. Prepare the fish: Clean the trout, take out the insides and wash it.
Garlic butter: In a small bowl, put butter, smashed garlic, (optionally herbes de provence) season it well with salt. Smash with a fork, so that it is well mixed.
Cover the trouts in butter from the outside and put about a tea-spoon of it also inside the fish. Prepare the oven-pan: Cover it with olive oil. Put the prepared trouts inside. Pour wine and juice from half a lemon on top. Slice the rest of the lemon and put on top of the fish.
Bake for about 20 min.
Bon appetit!
Tip:
During that time it’s good to pour the wine sauce on top of the trout so that it doesn’t get dry. You can also open the fish a little using a fork and pour some sauce inside.
