Delicious & Light Apple Pie with Golden Crumble
The apple pie from this recipe doesn’t have a bottom layer, therefore it doesn’t need much flour and sugar. It is very easy & fast to make, and it tastes wonderful : )
- 1,5-2kg of apples
- 100g flower
- 100g powder sugar
- 75g of butter
Preheat the oven to 180C. Wash and peel the apples. Dice them, but remember that the pieces don’t have to be too small.
Put the apple cubes into the oven-pan and sprinkle evenly with cinnamon on top of the apples ( you can be slightly generous : ), I think I used a bit heaping teaspoon of it).
For the crumble: In a bowl, mix flour, powder sugar and butter. You should not do that for too long. When you have small lumps of dough, spread them more less evenly on the cinnamoned apples.
Bake in the oven for about 40-50 min until the apples are soft and the crumble is golden.
Eat only in good company. It’s to yummy to share with the rest : )
