  • a bunch of green asparagus
  • 3 tb spoons of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • salt, pepper
  • herbes de provence

The magic:

Preheat oven to 180C.

Wash the asparagus, cut of the hard ends( about 1-1,5 cm). Place them on baking paper.

Mix smashed garlic, herbs, olive oil, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Spread it evenly on the asparagus.

Bake for about 6-7min in the oven with “fan oven” mode(the time depends a bit on your oven).

The idea is that the asparagus stay firm. I prefer this recipe to the boiled asparagus which often end up being too soft and a bit tasteless.
